My Story….

         Naturally Lovely Kinks a subsidiary of Creative Notions LLC. Began with a simple notion; that everyone should have healthy hair, especially my Kinkistas that have issues maintaining moisture, particularly my Queens with thick, low porous, coarse, 4B-4C hair texture.

We’ve looked at commercials, advertising’s, magazines and most Queens would say….

“Why is it that my hair can’t look like that?”

“I have tried many products and recipes that just doesn’t work for me!”

“My hair is just too nappy?”

…. I know have said  just that many of times. Well, search no more, you found the right site. Since I have 4B hair texture, trust when I say, I understand your pain. 

I’ll give a synopsis of my hair journey…. I have been a naturalista and making products since 2013 with two big chops.

100% natural! I wasn’t screaming “I am natural, hear me roar” but yet wearing wigs and/or hair extensions; while my beautiful natural hair sits under artificial hair (I’m not knocking it, to each their own). However, during my journey, I completely cut out false hair and chemicals; not only relaxers but parabens, mineral oil, artificial colors, petroleum, sulfate, silicone, and chloride.

Personally, I must have 100% organic products. So I decided to make my own pure products.

My Journey…

My natural hair journey was never much of a journey, but a plateau. I credit my transition as a huge catalyst in my life. I have started the “know thyself” movement (internally) just by being natural! Yes, I know it may seem a bit cliché. However, it is true.

Transitioning isn’t solely about hair, but about finding the true inner you.

This transition has given me a wealth of knowledge to take control of my overall health and lifestyle; which implemented the journey to a better life.

I feel empowered ladies and most of all truly happy now that I understand the true inner me. This experience has helped me accept all of the natural unique elements about myself.

Who would ever imagine changing what one might think is such an insignificant factor have such a powerful impact on one’s entire state of thinking and living.

The more natural I become the more cautious I am about living a healthier, happy life.
